What is the Care It Out® approach?
A sleep approach that feels a fit for your family
The core of my approach and all I ever want for you is that you trust your instincts, listen to your Small and find an approach that works for you. It’s got to feel comfortable and the best thing for your family! Care It Out is NOT about:
Having rules when it’s ok or not ok for you to respond to your Small
Making you wait or withhold a response if your Small is crying or asking for your support
Timing or spacing any reassurance, comfort or contact if your Small needs it
Spacing, timing or stopping night feeds unless you want to
It’s not about pushing your Small to sleep through the night!
I don’t have a magical sleep wand; Care it Out isn’t about forcing your Small to ‘sleep through’, it’s about supporting your Small to sleep at their Biological Best.
What is ‘Biological Best’?
IT’S YOUR BABY SLEEPING TO THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITIES AT THEIR CURRENT STAGE:
They take age/stage-appropriate naps without a fight
Bedtime is smooth and stress-free; it’s more bed ready than dready!
They do solid chunks of sleep at night before waking for a feed, if they need one.
If they wake to feed: they feed and are easily settled back into their sleep space.

I try to help as many people as possible with free advice over on Instagram & Facebook. I introduced my Podcast in 2019 to provide even more support to parents, followed by my self-led e-courses which have helped 1000s of parents to get their sleep started.
